CHILDHOOD SECRET

Life is her playground
she at the core of this fairytale reality
she has a secret
laughs gaily
always knowing ... forever growing
the inner child
expressing love
through profound
happiness
Her status will not affect her
this angel upon earth
she never questions, but embraces
the succulence of life.
Rich girl ... or poor
the secret within sparkles
ripples in the lives of others
who have forgotten
to love the feeling of earth between the toes
and have lost the willingness to be one with all
those who truly succeed in their journey
do not count coins collected
but hold fast to their inner secret
and cherish it
Like the girl who smiles now
and listens to an October wind
as it calls to her
carrying her secret now
upon its breeze.
