LAWTON: James Lawton came from Philadelphia, PA to NB in 1783 as a Loyalist: settled in Saint John: married and had children: only child mentioned was son Charles Lawton who married Eliza Ruddock d/o Thomas Ruddock of Saint John: had issue.
