When a child I was lonely and now I love to be alone. I enjoy my own company. When a child I was thrown back on my own resources. Now I am independent. When a child I had imagination and a sense of magic, of otherness, of the unseen. I still do. When a child I was me, entire. Now I hold the child within, in tact.
